Is this what the future classroom will look like?
Will an educator still be important?
This has been an interesting journey…

What is your opinion on the classroom of the future?
while busy doing an assignment for one of my modules, I realised that there is so much that we as educators can do to assist our learners.
I learnt that a child with dyslexia may learn easier when technology is brought into the classroom.
I read something interesting about dyslexia on the link below
so yes technology can help a dyslexic learner learn better.
The use of technology has become so great that we forget that learning can take place without technology…
The Morden day learner may struggle but yes it is possible…
Below is a link to a great piece of writing on the subject

What is the correct age to introduce technology to children ?
this is a question that many people ask …
do we even have control as parents over this?
this is a link to a great article on the subject…

What is your take on the subject?
so for my second teaching practice I went to a private, state of the art , elite school.
this school relies heavily on the use of technology.
the school has an active website with weekly updates, an interactive learning management system that includes all role players, an SMS system that informs parents of all events and the SMART system as an administrative tool.
All classrooms have projectors and desktops, speakers and intercoms.
The school has an open WI-FI system that all role players can use…
This is a place where a new age teacher will totally fit in.
When will our state owned schools reach his level of technology though?
that moment that you recieve an email at 5pm on a friday afternoon because your boss forgot to ask you about something during working hours! technology only means that we are at work 24 hours a day
when the new network being installed at school causes chaos! trenches everywhere dust everywher! why on earth did they not go for wireless network?
in the midnight and all i can think about is creatibg a powerful presentatio for tomorrows lesson! oh my God what happened to pen and paper
technology was supposed to make our lives easier not busier
So I’ve been thinking….
would have my crit lesson gone the same way as it did today?
I must say today the use of technology has absolutely made me look like a teacher who actually know what they are doing…
I managed to get 93% for my crit lesson
This power point presentation made me great
today I was able to take my learners to Sierria Leone.
I played them a video of the mudslides in Sierra Leone.
Mudslides are a geographical phenomena that is rare in our country.
The use of technology has once again given the learners a lesson that they will never forget.
If I cant take the class to the mudslide, ill bring the mudslide to the class…
